Randy has been in the financial industry for over 44 years. 30 of those years he worked as a bank examiner for the state of Minnesota and 4 different banks between Minnesota and North Dakota. Randy obtained his securities license in 1987, while working for a bank in Carrington, ND. In 2003, he decided to leave the banking industry and utilize his securities and insurance licenses on a full-time basis. In 2008, Randy worked part-time, for the Homeland Security as a federal officer for the Transportation Security Administration for 7 years.

His “old school” philosophy is to be the best person that he can be. The trust that people place in him, to handle their financial affairs is taken very seriously. Randy’s role as a financial advisor has changed over the years to not focus on retirement- the destination, but to help clients gain the most life they can with the money they have- Return on life (ROL). Out of the 5 financial advisors in our group, He is the “old guy”, and conservative by nature.

Jo (his wife of 39 years), Justin (son) and Randy moved to Belle Plaine, MN in 1990. During this time, he has been very active in the community. Over the years, Randy has been president of the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Rotary Club, and Commander of the Sons of the American Legion.

Randy’s qualifications include a series 6 and 63 Securities Registration, Minnesota insurance licenses, and degree in business administration at Southwest Minnesota State College in Marshall, MN and a graduate degree from Graduate School of Community Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
