Sandy Burgess
LPL Registered Administrative Associate
I joined the team in 2025 with four years of licensed experience in the financial services industry. With a degree in economics, my specialties include senior health insurance solutions, tax planning, estate planning, and helping clients navigate difficult life transitions. My focus is on helping our advisors guide clients through complex changes so they can keep their financial house in order.
I love helping those in need and have volunteered with the Internal Revenue Service through its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs. I have also worked for John Hancock and Thrivent Financial.
My career began at John Hancock, but life circumstances interrupted my time in the industry when I became a widow at age 34 with a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old. Over the past 16 years, I’ve gained firsthand experience navigating finances during serious adversity.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, dancing, exploring Florida, cruising, and playing hockey. My personal goal is to get back on the ice in 2026 after a nine-year semi-retirement from the sport.
