Advisors are typically paid in three ways: a fee you pay directly, commissions from products sold, or a combination of both.
At KMF, we are upfront and transparent about the fees you are paying. As a client, if you ever have questions about your fees, please ask, we're happy to explain.
As investment fiduciaries in advisory relationships, we are legally required to act in your best interest at all times. This means our advice is based solely on what supports your goals—not on commissions or incentives. Our fiduciary responsibility is established under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and overseen by the Securities and Exchange Commission, ensuring transparency, independence, and accountability in every recommendation we make.
You can view your accounts online using either LPL's Accountview or eMoney. The links are available at the top of this page under "Client Login." If you are not signed up for either of these portals, please reach out to us and we will get you set up!
